Special educators, therapists, counsellors and sign language interpreters required for imparting training & skills to children with disabilities are awfully inadequate in ratio to the need thereby compromising on the quality of services. Apart from quantitative shortfall, maintaining of quality is also an issue. There is a marked decline in the training outcomes of study centers imparting special education teaching programs. Educators are often not competent enough and we had to untrained and retrain them. For getting quality manpower in rehabilitation field, we had applied for two years diploma in special education courses (intellectual disability & hearing impairment) to be run by us at our Institute of training & inclusive rehabilitation established at Nawalgarh (Rajasthan) approval for which was accorded by apex regulatory body Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) during September 2022 with the sanctioned intake strength of 70 trainees. Our College Code is RJ 122. Maiden batch of academic session 2022-24 was graduated. Currently two batches of academic session 2023-25 and 2024-26 are being conducted where 140 trainee educators have been getting quality training at the hands of our highly qualified and experienced faculties. Theoretical inputs coupled with rigorous practicum at our schools and community would make them future ready educators of children with disabilities.
